Seeking an experienced and motivated LTL Lead to oversee daily operations within the LTL department. This leadership role requires strong organizational skills and a hands-on approach to supporting warehouse and shipping operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily operations of the LTL department.
- Lead and supervise a team of three LTL clerks.
- Assign tasks, provide direction, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Resolve shipping and operational issues using strong problem-solving skills.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation.
- Work closely with warehouse personnel and leadership teams.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and barcode scanners.
- Support process improvements and operational efficiency.
- Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend throughout the entire shift in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Qualifications
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse, distribution, shipping, or logistics environment preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems and barcode scanners.
