Job DescriptionDPP is seeking a Machine Operator II for an opportunity with our client in the Aerospace and Defense Manufacturing industry. &nbsp; Work Location: Onsite in San Diego, CA Duration: 4 months Terms: W2 Contract Work Authorization: US Citizen &nbsp; Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Operates light-duty bench- or floor-type machine tools and equipment such as small lathes, power mills, extruding machines, drills or punch presses, power brakes, shears or saws. </li>
<li>May set up machining machines, make adjustments and perform maintenance on machines. </li>
<li>Checks work using prescribed gauges, jigs and fixtures to measure close tolerances. </li>
<li>Some machines may be numerically controlled. </li>
<li>May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.</li>
</ul>
Required Qualifications: 
<ul>
<li>Familiar with HAAS control.</li>
<li>Familiar with changing and setting tool offsets.</li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Experience with basic CNC machining practices.</li>
