Role Description The Automotive Technician will perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repair on Mercedes-Benz vehicles in a fast-paced, professional service department. Day-to-day responsibilities include inspecting vehicles, completing scheduled services, performing oil changes, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and documenting all work according to dealership and manufacturer standards. The technician will collaborate with service advisors, follow safety procedures, use manufacturer-approved tools and systems, and maintain a clean and organized workspace. This is a full-time, on-site role located in the San Francisco Bay Area at Mercedes Benz of Palo Alto.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in general Vehicle Maintenance and scheduled service procedures.
- Proficiency in Oil Changes and related fluid services according to manufacturer specifications.
- Hands-on experience with Automotive Repair and Maintenance & Repair across core vehicle systems.
- Ability to diagnose and repair Suspension components and related drivability concerns.
- Relevant automotive technician certification or vocational training (ASE or manufacturer training preferred).
- Experience working in a dealership or professional repair facility, ideally with luxury vehicles.
- Comfort using diagnostic tools, repair manuals, and service software systems.
- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and commitment to safety and quality.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
