Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)
Pay: $1,816 – $2,041/week
Schedule

Primarily 5x8s (Evening coverage)

Evening Shift: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM or 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

Temporary Night Coverage (approx. 6 weeks): 4x10s, 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Rotating weekends (every other weekend)

Position Summary & Responsibilities
-
Perform and prioritize clinical lab testing across multiple departments

Ensure accurate specimen processing, testing, and result reporting
-
Perform blood bank testing (gel and tube methods)
-
Validate results and ensure QA/QC compliance
-
Maintain lab equipment, troubleshooting, and inventory

Communicate critical values and support clinical teams

Train and supervise lab assistants and support staff

Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient safety standards
Requirements
-
Education & Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree in CLS/Medical Technology or related field – Required
-
3+ years clinical laboratory experience – Preferred
-
Strong blood bank experience (gel & tube methods) – Required

Licensure/Certifications:
-
Active California CLS (Generalist) License – Required

ASCP or NCA Certification – Preferred
