Job Title: Production Worker - Rancho Cucamonga $19/hr

Job Description

This role involves working on a production line to support the manufacturing of fire retardant products by loading and unloading finished goods from machines, labeling and palletizing bags, and performing a variety of general labor tasks throughout the facility. The position requires flexibility to learn and perform multiple functions in both production and warehouse areas while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality. This is a 2-3 month contract role. Must be flexible with working shifts morning or night. weekly pay! SPANISH SPEAKERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload final products from production machines in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Palletize finished products, ensuring stacks are stable, secure, and properly wrapped as needed.
  • Label bags and pallets accurately according to production and shipping requirements.
  • Perform general labor tasks such as moving materials, organizing work areas, and assisting with basic production activities.
  • Use basic hand tools safely to support production and packaging operations.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient and safe operations.
  • Adapt to different production and warehouse functions as business needs change.
  • Handle heavy lifting, including repeatedly lifting up to 50 pounds, throughout the shift.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and timelines.
  • Respond to schedule changes during peak fire season, including working different shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
  • Support consistent product quality by following standard operating procedures and reporting any issues to leadership.

Essential Skills

  • General production or manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Experience performing general labor tasks in a production or warehouse environment.
  • Comfort working with hand tools in a safe and controlled manner.
  • Ability to perform packaging and palletizing tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Willingness to learn and perform different functions within production and warehouse areas.
  • Strong safety orientation and commitment to following safety protocols.
  • Flexibility to work various schedules, including different shifts and weekends, based on business needs.
  • Reliability in attendance and the ability to support peak season demands.

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heavy lifting, packaging, and palletizing.

Work Environment

The role is based in a large manufacturing facility that produces fire retardant products. The production floor contains particles and dust, and the coloring used in the retardant can cause clothing to become stained. The environment is hot, loud, and dusty, and employees must be comfortable working under these conditions. Work attire includes steel-toe shoes and dark-colored pants and shirts. Personal protective equipment, including a hard hat, safety glasses, and ear protection, is provided. Work schedules may vary, especially during peak fire season, and may include different shifts, weekends, and overtime depending on operational needs.

This is a Contract position based out of Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
