Machine Operator
Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am-3:30 pm
Pay Rate: $25.00-$30.00 per hour or based on experience
Duration: Temporary with the possibility of going Temp-to-Hire
Location: San Jose, CA
Experience: At least 3 years of HAAS CNC Machine experience
Machine Operator Job Duties include:
- Execute work orders and run production parts using 3-axis HAAS CNC equipment.
- Review engineering drawings and machine programs to ensure accurate part production.
- Perform post-machining tasks, including deburring and quality control (QC) testing.
- Use precision measuring tools to inspect finished metal and plastic parts.
- Troubleshoot standard production issues independently during part runs.
- Complete daily workload targets accurately and communicate any operational roadblocks effectively to management.
- Other duties as assigned
Machine Operator Preferred Skills include:
- Proficiency in reading technical schematics and blueprints.
- Prior experience working in a precision machine shop environment supporting the semiconductor industry.
- Strong problem-solving, interpersonal communication, and self-starter qualities.
- Dedication to a continuous improvement mindset in daily workflows.
Bookkeeper Requirements may include:
- Experience: 3–5 years of verified experience setting up and operating HAAS CNC machinery (3-axis).
- Technical Ability: Demonstrated skill in setting up machines and using precision measuring tools.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to regularly lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 75 lbs; comfortable bending, reaching, squatting, twisting, kneeling, and stooping daily.
- Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail, punctuality, and the ability to work effectively with minimal support.
