Job Title: Racking and Cabling Assembler

Type of Role: Contract to Hire

Shift / Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm

Location: Fremont, CA

Hourly Range: $25 - $28/hr.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Assemble computer systems in accordance with approved manufacturing procedures
• Perform in-process quality checks on subassemblies and finished product
• Utilize small hand tools, calibrated instruments, measurement equipment, microscopes, and test fixtures
• When appropriate, must be able to initiate corrective action to prevent nonconforming products from reaching the customer
• Record and alert manager of any product or process quality concerns discovered during inspection
• High attention to detail, with the understanding that all requested tasks are vital, regardless of perceived importance.
• Adhere to general safety rules, manufacturing procedures, company policies and procedures
• Occasional overtime to meet business needs.

Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk, hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus
• Lifting and carrying (up to 20 lbs.) is required
• Rack, stack, cable labeling, routing, and bundling experience related to server cabinet builds with multiple network bundles and in-rack power distribution is a plus.
• Basic computer skills
• Quick learner and self-starter

Experience/Education:

• Minimum one year of related computer hardware assembly or testing experience
• Must be able to read and understand: assembly instructions, work orders, Bills of Materials, Standard Operation
