We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Machinist for a Direct Hire Opportunity to join our Team. In this role, you will operate, set up, and maintain CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precision metal components. Your expertise in CNC programming, machine setup, and quality inspection will ensure that parts meet strict specifications and quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machining tools and contribute to innovative manufacturing processes in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and passionate about precision machining.


We are currently Hiring for the following positions: CNC Mill, CNC Lathe, and CNC Swiss.


Shifts available: 1st & 2nd


Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC machining equipment to produce high-quality metal parts.
  • Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately to ensure correct part fabrication.
  • Perform machine calibration, tooling changes, and adjustments to optimize machining processes for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other measurement tools to verify part dimensions against specifications.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of machine setups, production runs, and quality inspections for traceability.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues, perform routine maintenance, and ensure machines operate at peak performance.
  • Follow lean manufacturing principles to minimize waste and improve workflow efficiency while adhering to safety protocols.

Experience

  • Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC Lathes, Mill, or Swiss equipment.
  • Skilled in reading and interpreting mechanical blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical specifications.
  • Hands-on experience with electrical discharge machining (EDM) processes is a plus.
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and perform manual machining tasks when necessary.
  • Familiarity with measurement instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other precision measurement devices for quality control.
  • Knowledge of machining tools, tooling setups, grinding equipment, hand tools, power tools, and tooling management.
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing practices to promote continuous improvement in production processes.
  • Basic math skills for calculations related to measurements, tolerances, and machine settings.
