POSITION: Equipment Operator
REPORTS TO: Operations Manager
LOCATION: Fresno, CA
SALARY RANGE: $20.00 to $30.00/hour, DOE

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate various loaders, excavators, skid steers, water trucks, forklifts, and other equipment around the facility.
- Responsible for the safety of all staff, contractors, and visitors onsite while operating equipment.
- Continuously monitor the condition of the equipment to ensure it is safe and operational at all times.
- Perform formal pre and post inspections and complete accurate inspection reports in writing.
- Continuously monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable material.
- Communicate with spotters to ensure the safety of all customers, team-members, and drivers in the yard.
- Ensure that all related documentation is completed in a timely manner.
- Monitor outbound loads to ensure trucks are being loaded to the required weight and make sure trucks are being loaded in a timely manner.
- Assist in various clean-up projects with and/or without equipment.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE):
- Two years of related experience operating equipment
- Highly self-motivated with ability to complete tasks
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Ability to work overtime and/or weekends when needed
- Must be willing to work in an outdoor setting with exposure to various weather conditions, dust, odors, noise,
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Bilingual; English/Spanish-Preferred but not required
