Role Description: This part-time, on-site Nanny/Driver role is based in La Jolla, CA and involves providing safe, attentive care while managing daily transportation needs. The role includes interaction with one high school aged child, and supporting routines such as meals, time management, and general upkeep of the household. The Nanny/Driver will safely transport children to and from school, appointments, and activities, following all traffic laws and family guidelines. Additional responsibilities may include meal preparation for the family of three, maintaining a clean and organized space, and communicating regularly with parents about schedules, needs, and any concerns.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday afternoons and evenings. An average of 12 hours per week between the hours of 3-8pm. Flexibility with changing sports schedules is highly valued.

Qualifications:

- Experience working with teens and young adults.
- Basic Cooking skills for preparing simple, nutritious meals.
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and confidence driving children safely to local destinations.
- Ability to maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.
- Strong communication skills, reliability, and the ability to follow family routines and instructions.
- CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain these certifications is preferred.
- Prior experience in a nanny, caregiver, or similar role is beneficial.
