IMMEDIATE job opportunity for a driven individual who has a proven track record of performance and desire to work for a well-established organization. We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative/Drayage for one of the most comprehensive logistics companies serving the Import/Export community located in Oakland, CA.
Position: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Seeking an experienced Drayage / Availability CSR to support daily drayage coordination, container availability, transportation scheduling, and customer communication.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate container pickups, deliveries, appointments, and availability.
- Communicate with carriers, drivers, customers, terminals, and warehouse teams.
- Track containers, LFDs, holds, appointments, and shipment status.
- Process DOs, EDI, BOLs, packing lists, and related documentation.
- Schedule inbound/outbound activity and provide timely updates.
- Utilize WMS/TMS, Excel, Outlook, and other operational systems.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in drayage, transportation, logistics, warehouse/3PL, or CSR.
- Experience with containerized freight and drayage carriers.
- Knowledge of terminals, appointments, container availability, and transportation scheduling.
- Experience with DOs, EDI, BOLs, and shipping documentation.
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-through.
- WMS/TMS experience preferred.
Ideal candidate: Hands-on, responsive, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse/transportation environment with minimal direction.
Compensation: $24 - $25hr
