Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes and related documentation
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for K-12 students
- Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy tailored to diverse student needs
- Collaborate with general and special education teachers, families, and support staff to maximize student progress
- Monitor, assess, and document student growth; maintain thorough and timely records in compliance with all regulatory standards
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture
- Provide professional input and resources to colleagues and families
