Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education
- Previous experience working with students with diverse learning needs and abilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with students, parents, and staff
- Ability to implement and modify Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive classroom environment
- Excellent organizational skills and adaptability
Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored instruction to students with special needs, adapting curriculum to meet diverse learning styles
- Assess student progress and maintain comprehensive documentation in line with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families to develop and deliver educational plans
- Create and maintain a classroom atmosphere that encourages academic, social, and emotional growth
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing insights and advocating for student needs
- Utilize effective classroom management strategies to promote a safe and supportive learning environment

Compensation for this position ranges from $35.34 to $50.34. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
