Job Description

Make a difference in the lives of students while advancing your career as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist in a school-based setting near Vacaville, CA. You’ll support diverse learners by evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a range of speech and language disorders, empowering students to achieve their fullest potential in the classroom and beyond.

What you’ll be doing:

Conduct detailed evaluations for students with speech and language needs
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s goals
Provide engaging therapy sessions targeting communication, articulation, language, and fluency skills
Track, document, and analyze each student’s progress to ensure effective interventions
Work closely with teachers, counselors, and other specialists to coordinate care
Actively involve families and caregivers in therapy, offering guidance and education

Qualifications and experience that will set you apart:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
Current, valid state license or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply
Skilled at communicating with children, families, and educational professionals
Previous experience with pediatric and/or school-based populations is an asset
Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team
