SUMMARY:
The Distribution Associate in Materials Management contributes to the overall success of Pioneers Memorial Healthcare District by distributing both medical, and non-medical supplies to clinical and administrative areas within the hospital and outside the hospital.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Stock, and distribute storeroom supplies to nursing units and outside clinics.
- Refill crash carts as needed, supporting hospital usage.
- Communicate any UOM and physical count discrepancies to coordinator.
- Maintain department cleanliness and perform scheduled cleaning as needed.
- Participate in the on-call rotation schedule to include weekends.
- Respond to emergency or STAT calls in a timely manner.

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent. Inventory management experience in an acute care hospital; supervisory and/or leadership experience, skills are desired.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Valid California driver’s license.

Newborn Infant/Pediatric Adolescent Adult Geriatric All X No Patient Care
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Lift +50 lbs and tolerate long periods walking or standing.
