Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to handle family law matters and provide practical legal guidance to clients. The attorney will work on cases involving divorce, child custody, child support, and related family law issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel and advise clients on family law matters.
- Conduct legal research and analyze relevant laws.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings.
- Manage case files, deadlines, and required documentation.
- Communicate regularly with clients and colleagues.
- Provide high-quality and professional legal representation.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active Georgia Bar membership in good standing.
- Prior family law or litigation experience is highly preferred.
- Strong communication, legal research, writing, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
