We are seeking an experienced Swiss CNC Machinist to join an aerospace manufacturing team specializing in precision-machined components. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience setting up, operating, and troubleshooting Swiss-style CNC machines to produce high-quality parts that meet strict aerospace specifications. This position requires strong blueprint-reading skills, knowledge of precision measuring instruments, and the ability to maintain tight tolerances while following quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and adjust Swiss CNC machines to manufacture precision aerospace components.
- Read and interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications.
- Perform machine setups, tool changes, offsets, and adjustments as needed.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure parts meet required dimensions and quality standards.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments to maintain production quality and efficiency.
- Work with engineers, programmers, and quality personnel to resolve machining and production issues.
- Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
- Follow all safety procedures and aerospace quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and perform routine machine maintenance.
Qualifications
- Previous experience setting up and operating Swiss CNC machines.
- Experience machining precision components in a manufacturing environment; aerospace experience is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T.
- Knowledge of CNC tooling, cutting speeds, feeds, and machining processes.
- Experience using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with tight tolerances.
- Ability to troubleshoot machine issues and make necessary adjustments.
- Knowledge of quality standards and inspection procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with aerospace materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, or other specialty alloys.
- Familiarity with aerospace quality systems, including AS9100.
- Experience with CNC programming or editing G-code.
- Knowledge of first-piece inspection and in-process quality checks.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move materials as required.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and handle small precision components.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with appropriate PPE.
