Project Superintendent: Water & Wastewater
\n
\n
We are currently working with a well-established general contractor that is looking to add an experienced Project Superintendent to their Water Division in Southern California.
\n
This is an opportunity to join a growing, family-owned organization with the backing and resources of a larger company, working on complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects while taking ownership of field operations from start to finish.
\n
\n
The Role:
\n
• Lead and manage overall field operations
\n
• Develop, maintain, and manage project schedules
\n
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, drawings, specifications, and field activities
\n
• Establish project budgets and monitor costs throughout construction
\n
• Identify cost variances and implement solutions to keep projects on track
\n
• Identify project risks and work proactively to mitigate them
\n
• Communicate quality expectations to subcontractors and vendors
\n
• Conduct quality control inspections throughout the project
\n
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies, OSHA standards, and applicable regulations
\n
• Maintain a clean, safe, and productive jobsite
\n
• Manage personnel and complete daily timekeeping
\n
• Prepare daily reports and project logs
\n
• Work closely with project management and other members of the project team
\n
What We're Looking For
\n
• 6+ years of construction experience
\n
• Previous experience as a Project Superintendent or similar field leadership position
\n
• Water/wastewater construction experience
\n
• Strong understanding of field operations, scheduling, cost control, and subcontractor coordination
\n
• Ability to take ownership of a project and drive field operations forward
\n
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
\n
• Commitment to safety, quality, schedule, and project performance
\n
• High School Diploma or equivalent
\n
• Basic computer skills
\n
