This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility in your work environment while you focus on meaningful interventions. As a member of the Calm Soul Mental Health team, you will collaborate with educational professionals and families to address the needs of children with disabilities or developmental delays. Key Responsibilities\n

Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of children’s developmental and emotional needs.

Actively participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP).

Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to monitor and document outcomes based on established objectives.

Provide direct support to families, equipping them with information and strategies to enhance their child’s development.

Utilize evidence-based practices and the Natural Learning Environment Practices framework in planning and executing interventions.

Develop strong rapport with children, families, and colleagues to create a positive supportive network and learning atmosphere.

Adapt intervention strategies to meet the varied learning styles and needs of each child, ensuring each treatment plan is individualized.

Comply with all federal and state regulations and standards pertaining to mental health services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will focus primarily on a youthful demographic, particularly infants and toddlers, who experience developmental delays or disabilities. Your work will support their cognitive, physical, social/emotional, and communication skills during a crucial developmental stage. By addressing these needs through early intervention, we aim to enhance their learning and integration into school settings, ultimately improving long-term outcomes.

Qualifications\n

Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.

Must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) as per California state regulations.

A valid driver’s license.

At least one year of experience working within early intervention settings, focused on children.

Demonstrated commitment to using Natural Learning Environment Practices in supporting children and families.

Compensation and Benefits\n
