Desired Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current or eligible for state licensure as an SLP
- CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are both welcome
- Strong knowledge of child language development, communication disorders, and evidence-based intervention
- Comfort collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Previous school-based experience is appreciated, but not mandatory
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Role Expectations:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to K-12 students across a variety of needs
- Evaluate students, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and maintain thorough documentation
- Consult with educators and families about strategies that support classroom success
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, goal planning, and progress monitoring
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal special education requirements
