Position Highlights
- Specialty: General gastroenterology with a focus on essential practices
- Practice Setting: Full-time employed position within a well-established two-physician group
- Work Split: 50% inpatient and 50% outpatient
- Patient Volume: Typically 15-25 patients daily
- Call Schedule: 7 consecutive days (Monday to Sunday) once a month
- Procedure Resources: Four dedicated GI/IR procedure rooms with available block time
- Hospital: A 465-bed, Joint Commission-accredited multi-specialty facility equipped with STEMI, Comprehensive Stroke Center, ECMO, and advanced surgical capabilities

Candidate Requirements
- MD or DO degree is mandatory
- Board eligible or board certified in Gastroenterology

Our facility is the largest full-service hospital between Stockton and Fresno, and from the Sierras to the San Francisco Bay Area, featuring a 394-bed general acute care unit and a 67-bed inpatient psychiatric unit. We are recognized for delivering comprehensive inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care. Our hospital provides a wide array of services, including cardiology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, emergency and trauma care, minimally invasive and robotic surgery, women's and children's services, medical/surgical care, behavioral health, oncology, and critical/intensive care.
