Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP license for California or eligibility to obtain one
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Prior experience providing SLP services in schools, with knowledge of IEP processes
  • Familiarity with a range of communication disorders affecting school-aged children
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Administer assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and social communication needs
  • Deliver direct therapy to students, adapting methods for both individual and group sessions
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and participate in ongoing IEP meetings
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and school administrators to optimize learning outcomes
  • Offer guidance and training to support staff aiding in speech-language development
  • Monitor and adjust interventions for ongoing student growth and success
