Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active and current CCC-SLP credentials
- California licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Previous school-based experience strongly preferred (internships and practicums welcome)
- Solid understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and best practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with students, staff, and families
- Compassion, flexibility, and cultural sensitivity
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech, language, and communication assessments to students with diverse learning needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s goals
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute meaningfully to multi-disciplinary teams
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes in compliance with school and district standards
- Consult with teachers, parents, and support personnel to optimize classroom strategies and student outcomes
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services in both individual and group settings
- Stay current with evidence-based intervention strategies and professional development
