A retail pharmacy is seeking an experienced pharmacist to provide professional pharmacy services on a per diem basis in Montague, CA. This opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist comfortable managing a high-volume retail setting and skilled in prescription processing.

- Hours: 9 AM to 6 PM
Responsibilities:
- Dispense and review prescriptions accurately and efficiently in a high-volume pharmacy environment processing 400–500 prescriptions daily.
- Counsel patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and answer questions.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and pharmacy team to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and pharmacy policies.
- Utilize pharmacy software for prescription processing; familiarity with PioneerRx is highly desirable.
Qualifications:
- Valid California pharmacist license
- Recent experience working as a retail pharmacist, preferably in a high-volume setting.
- Comfortable working independently and managing workflow to meet high prescription demands.
