Join a dynamic distribution company that manufactures automotive parts, seeking a long-term shipping clerk and warehouse worker. You will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient shipping operations, working flexible hours from 6:30 AM to 2 PM or 3 PM.

Responsibilities

Receive and restock inventory, manage dispatch and overstock tasks.
Load and unload materials from trucks.
Break down boxes and package items for shipment.
Utilize order rolling stairs, pickers, and RF scanners to fulfill orders.
Assist Warehouse Supervisors as needed.
Package items for shipment.
Pick orders using stairs to reach materials for the automotive industry, with rolling stairs ranging from 7 to 15 steps.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in using RF scanners and pallet jacks.
Experience in order picking, packing, and warehouse inventory management.
Capability to regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 100 pounds.
Comfortable utilizing rolling safety ladders.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to speak, read, and write English.
Must be able to stand, walk, sit, push, pull, and reach with hands and arms.
Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or squat.
Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

The work environment is typically loud due to the operation of forklifts and other machinery. You will work on the 1st shift, Monday to Friday, with mandatory overtime up to 2 hours daily and occasional Saturdays. Dress code includes plain shirts, jeans (without holes), and closed-toed shoes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brea, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
