Make a positive impact supporting elementary and middle school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a contract position based near San Rafael, CA. This full-time opportunity begins as soon as possible and runs through June 10, 2027, providing services across two nearby school locations. You’ll play a key role in helping students communicate more effectively, working closely with educators and families in a collaborative school-based environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active Speech-Language Pathology license in California (SLP-CCC required)
- Previous experience in school settings, specifically with elementary and middle school populations
- Comfortable working onsite at two locations within the district
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- SLPA credentials not accepted for this role
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services to elementary and middle school students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on students’ IEP goals
- Screen, assess, and document progress for a diverse caseload
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families for student success
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with all school and state regulations
