Make a meaningful impact in the school community as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students in both an Adult Transition Program and a High School setting. This contract position requires your expertise from November 3, 2026, through December 18, 2026, with an anticipated daily schedule of 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Onsite service is required, and this opportunity covers two distinct school sites, providing you with a dynamic and rewarding caseload. There is also the possibility of extending your assignment to cover a subsequent leave.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Valid California SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience in both pediatric and adult/transition-age populations strongly preferred
- Prior experience in school-based practice, including assessments and development of IEPs
- Skilled in delivering services to diverse students, including those with moderate to severe needs
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Must be able to work onsite; SLPA applications will not be considered
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy at both Adult Transition and High School sites
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and participate in IEP team meetings
- Document student progress and maintain compliance according to school and state requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Adjust intervention strategies to meet individual students’ goals
