Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Bookkeeper role based in Novato, CA. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, including recording daily transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing basic financial reports. Typical tasks include posting journal entries, tracking accounts payable and receivable, managing invoices and receipts, and assisting with payroll-related data entry. The role also involves using accounting software to update ledgers, monitor cash flow, and support month-end and year-end closing activities. The Bookkeeper will collaborate with management to ensure compliance with internal procedures and provide clear, organized financial information that supports decision-making.

- Strong bookkeeping and finance skills, including experience with journal entries and day-to-day transaction recording.
- Ability to prepare and review basic financial statements and reports with attention to detail and accuracy.

- Solid understanding of general accounting principles and practices in a small business or service environment.
