Work Environment\n
This role is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your work from home while being engaged with a cohesive team committed to mental health advocacy. Your work schedule will typically be Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., giving you weekends to recharge. Key Responsibilities\n

- Conduct in-depth assessments of clients' mood disorders and relational dynamics to formulate effective treatment strategies.
- Develop personalized treatment plans that are specific to clients’ unique needs, goals, and preferences.
- Utilize evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to individual and family issues.
- Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatments, and essential self-care techniques to empower them in their healing journey.
- Monitor and document client progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure continuous improvement and support.
- Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive approach to each client's mental health needs.
- Stay informed of the latest research on mood disorders and therapy interventions to enhance the therapeutic experience.
- Maintain accurate, confidential client records in accordance with ethical and legal guidelines.
- Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and opportunities for continuing education to stay at the forefront of mental health care.
- Advocate for clients facing mental health stigma, ensuring their voices and needs are recognized and respected within the clinic.

Our practice primarily serves individuals and families grappling with relationship challenges, substance misuse, and related mood disorders. As an LMFT, you will be instrumental in guiding clients through issues related to divorce, anxiety, and depression, employing a relational approach that acknowledges the impact of familial dynamics on mental health.
Qualifications\n

- An active and current license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.
- A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.
- Ability to showcase empathy, understanding, and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients' experiences.
- Strong organizational skills and effective time management capabilities to handle diverse clinical responsibilities efficiently.
