Central Valley drivers: runs in the 11 western states, usually two days or less out, home every two weeks.
Fresh out of CDL school? This position takes new drivers, and we will walk you through every step.
Money and miles
- Training pay: $680 to $850 a week
- A $1,000 weekly floor for your first 3 solo months
- $1,000 to $1,300 average per week
- 1,700 to 2,100 miles weekly
- Runs usually 2 days or less
- Home every two weeks
- $15 stop pay, $20 to $80 unload pay when needed
- Up to $0.06 per mile monthly bonus
- Weekly direct deposit
What new drivers usually worry about
- "Does my CDL school count?" If it was 120 hours or more, yes.
- "I am not good at backing yet." Nobody is on day one. You get weeks of practice with a mentor next to you before you ever drive alone.
- "What if my first solo weeks are slow?" You still get at least $1,000 a week for your first 3 months.
- "Will I be gone for months?" No. Runs are usually 2 days or less and you are home every two weeks.
How we get you from CDL school to solo
- Call: we talk through your license and record first. No surprises later.
- Orientation: up to 2 days, hotel covered, one-way bus fare reimbursed, $300 after you are hired.
- Training: 4 to 6 weeks riding with a mentor who helps with backing, logs, fuel stops and route planning. Pay is $680 to $850 weekly.
- Solo: your own truck, fleet average age 1.5 years, 10-speeds and automatics. $1,000 weekly guarantee for 3 months.
On the road
Mix of drop and hook, live loads and preloads across CA, OR, WA, NV, AZ, UT and the rest of the West.
Some winter driving in the mountains. If you want longer runs, you can ask for them.
After your first 30 days

Who can apply
- Valid Class A CDL, 21 or older
- New driver with a 120-hour school certificate, or 6 months of recent experience
- Record: no more than 2 moving violations in 2 years, no DUI/DWI in 10
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (hair and urine)
