Job DescriptionAbout the Role
This is a hands-on, customer-facing technical delivery role sitting within a specialized Agent Builder team at a fast-growing conversational AI platform. You will own end-to-end execution of enterprise AI agent builds, from initial scoping through launch and iteration, directly shaping the customer experience outcomes that make this product category-defining.
What You'll Do
- Own the full lifecycle of AI agent builds for enterprise customers, including scoping, implementation, launch, and ongoing iteration.
- Write and maintain key agent-building artifacts such as workflows, configurations, and integration code.
- Validate and troubleshoot API integrations between the platform and customer systems.
- Partner with customers' senior technical stakeholders to translate business requirements into concrete build plans.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Go-to-Market teams to surface gaps and feed real customer needs back into the platform roadmap.
- Ensure agents perform reliably and at enterprise-grade quality at scale.
What We're Looking For
- 3 to 10 or more years of experience shipping technical solutions end-to-end for customers.
- Strong Python development skills with recent, hands-on individual contributions.
- Experience working with APIs and building integrations in a B2B SaaS or similarly complex technical environment.
- Customer-facing or client-facing technical delivery experience, such as solutions engineering, forward-deployed engineering, or technical account management.
- A strong academic or professional signal of excellence, such as a CS degree from a top program or prior experience at a highly respected engineering organization.
- Experience with pre-sales or full product ownership is a plus.
- Familiarity with LLMs, AI agents, conversational systems, or automation workflows is a strong plus.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range: $175,000 to $230,000 USD annually, plus equity. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
Location
On-site in San Francisco, CA, five days per week.
