Desired Skills & Experience:

Valid and current Occupational Therapist license
Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and documentation
Effective communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

Assess and evaluate students’ functional skills and developmental needs
Develop and implement individual therapy plans to address educational goals
Document progress; maintain accurate and organized records in line with school and legal requirements
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on educational strategies with teachers and staff
Provide consultations and education to families and classroom teams
Adapt therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each student
