Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (1099 Independent Contractor)

LAMSCE and Mykonos MedSpa are seeking an experienced, patient-focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing clinical practices as an independent contractor. This is a shared role across both locations, with scheduling driven by patient demand at each site.
This opportunity is specifically tailored for a provider with a strong clinical foundation in Gynecology, Women’s Health who is looking to integrate health and wellness support with advanced medical aesthetics. Locations & Schedule
- Locations: Sherman Oaks, CA
- Schedule: Flexible 1099 contract; days and hours allocated between the two practices based on patient volume, clinical schedules, and treatment demand.
Key Responsibilities Women’s Health & Wellness Practice Support
- Conduct detailed medical evaluations, wellness exams, and consultations tailored to OB/GYN and women’s health patients.
- Manage patient care plans for specialized women’s health conditions, reproductive wellness, and aesthetic concerns.
- Educate patients on intimate wellness, hormonal health, recovery expectations, and treatment options.
Aesthetic & Wellness Procedures
- Perform cosmetic injectable treatments (e.g., Neurotoxins, dermal fillers, and facial rejuvenation) within scope of practice.
- Administer IV therapy, wellness protocols, and supportive recovery regimens.
- Perform both ablative and non-ablative laser procedures, including facial rejuvenation and body contouring/skin tightening modalities.
- Perform advanced clinical aesthetic and wellness procedures, including micro needling, radiofrequency, PRP/PRF treatments, and skin health protocols.
- Monitor patient outcomes and recommend long-term maintenance, wellness, and preventive treatment plans.
Clinical Operations & Team Collaboration
- Maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant patient documentation within each practice’s Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Ensure strict adherence to California nursing practitioner /physician assistant regulations, infection control standards, and surgical safety guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with the Medical Director and clinical team to optimize health outcomes and patient satisfaction.
- Stay current with advancements in women’s health, OB/GYN surgical care, and aesthetic medicine through ongoing professional development.
QualificationsRequired
- Active California Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in good standing.
- National NP or PA board certification.
- Current BLS/ACLS certification.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience with a strong focus in OB/GYN, Women’s Health, Surgical Support, or Aesthetic Medicine.
- Demonstrated experience performing neurotoxins, dermal fillers, and laser treatments (ablative and non-ablative).
- Experience administering IV Therapy and wellness protocols.
- Strong background in patient consultations, clinical education, and pre/post-operative care.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms.
Preferred
- Experience with Laser, PRP/PRF applications, Microneedeling and RF skin tightening, or intimate wellness technologies.
- Bilingual fluency (English/Spanish or English/Russian) is highly desirable.
