Compensation:
$22 - $25 hourly
Responsibilities:
Case Opening & Intake Management

Open and process new client intakes in CasePeer, ensuring all information and documents are accurate and complete

Send Welcome Letters, Letters of Representation (LORs), and lien requests promptly
-
Ensure LORs are sent same-day whenever possible

Communicate with insurance companies to confirm claim numbers, adjuster information, and coverage details
Case File Management (CasePeer)
-
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case information in CasePeer
-
Properly save, label, and organize all documents
-
Monitor acknowledgements, declarations pages, and claim updates
Medical Records & Lien Management
-
Request and follow up on medical records and billing from providers
-
Communicate with medical offices to obtain records and confirm timelines

Submit and track health insurance lien requests
Daily Case Activity & Communication

Review and process incoming mail and faxes daily

Update CasePeer with new providers, bills, and insurance changes

Maintain detailed notes of all case activity
Case Preparation (Pre-Demand)

Ensure all records, bills, and documents are complete

Assist with preparing cases for demand

Organize exhibits and supporting documentation
Letters & Administrative Tasks

Draft and send legal correspondence (LORs, POE letters, contact letters, etc.)

Handle DMV requests and other administrative filings
Time-Sensitive Tasks

Complete urgent tasks same-day including intakes, LORs, lien requests, and mail review
Team Support & Collaboration

Assist Case Managers and Attorneys with additional tasks

Communicate proactively regarding case updates and issues
Qualifications:
- Effective organizational and communication skills, both written and oral, are needed
- Self-starter with the ability to effectively manage multiple matters at once
