Role Description The Fire Extinguisher/Sprinkler Technician is a full-time hybrid role based in San Dimas, CA, with some work-from-home tasks such as documentation and reporting. Day-to-day responsibilities include inspecting, testing, servicing, and maintaining fire extinguishers and sprinkler systems at client sites to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards. The technician will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, replace or repair components, and document all work performed in detailed service reports. The role involves using hand tools and equipment safely, coordinating with clients and team members to schedule inspections, and supporting life safety initiatives by identifying potential hazards and recommending corrective actions. The technician will also assist with inventory management of parts and equipment and follow company policies and procedures for quality and safety.\n
Qualifications

- Knowledge of fire Sprinkler Systems and general Sprinkler maintenance, inspection, and repair.
- Ability to safely and effectively use Hand Tools for installation, service, and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of Life Safety codes, standards, and best practices related to fire protection.
- Experience working with Pipe installations, fittings, and repairs in fire suppression systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications in fire protection or related fields are preferred.
- Previous experience as a fire extinguisher, sprinkler, or fire protection technician is beneficial.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client locations in and around San Dimas, CA.
- Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and ability to follow standardized procedures.
- Ability to work safely in various environments, lift moderate weights, and perform physical tasks as required.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a hybrid work setting.
