Electrical Engineer Supervisor

Job Description

Successful candidates must have a current PE registration and Healthcare design experience. Experience with Healthcare, Federal, Critical Facilities, Commercial, and Aviation projects would be a good fit.

Providing periodic objective and comprehensive employee evaluations.

\n

• Acting as "Engineer of Record" on dedicated projects.

\n

• Assisting Technical Manager and Chief Engineer in business unit technical training and staff mentoring.

\n

• Coordinating and assigning various projects to be performed by the engineering team.

\n

• Establishing design standards, specifications, and criteria for projects.

\n

• Leading and supervising staff members as they perform their tasks.

\n

• Managing Construction Administrative duties, such as field reports, responses to RFIs, processing Bulletins and Addenda, etc.

\n

• Coordinating with accounting to prepare monthly project invoices.

\n

• Monitoring project accounts receivable and contacting the client as needed to expedite payment.

\n

• Monitoring all correspondence between staff, clients, contractors, Owners, etc.

\n

• Participating in and contributing to the firmwide Expert Teams committee.

\n

• Participating in budgeting, scheduling, and staff management.

\n

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.

\n

• 12+ years of Project Management experience.

\n

• 10+ years of experience working in a consulting firm.

\n

• Senior-level background in the MEP Engineering industry.

\n

• 3+ years of supervisory experience.

\n

• Hands-on design and CAD/Revit experience.

\n

• Strong technical background with the ability to direct engineering staff.

\n
