Title: Affordable Housing Leasing Professional
Location: Carlsbad, California
Schedule: Full time, Wednesday-Sundays 8:00am-5:00pm, off on Mondays & Tuesdays
Pay: $21-$22 an hour depending on experience
Start Date: ASAP
The Affordable Housing Leasing Professional reports to the Property Manager and supports HUD-assisted housing and Section 8 voucher programs. This resident-facing role manages leasing appointments, recertifications, compliance activities, and high-volume front-office operations while delivering responsive resident services.
Responsibilities
- Screen applicants and verify income for program eligibility.
- Administer HUD-assisted housing and Section 8 voucher requirements.
- Calculate rents and process recertifications accurately.
- Administer leases and maintain complete, compliant resident files.
- Conduct property tours and leasing appointments.
- Lead resident onboarding and explain leasing procedures.
- Monitor compliance with applicable affordable housing requirements.
- Build positive resident relations through responsive front-office service.
Preferred Qualifications
- One or more years of experience in affordable housing leasing.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- On site Multifamily experience
