Job Description
Abstraction Media, Inc. — West Hollywood, CA On-site, Los Angeles (This role is not remote and not hybrid)
About Abstraction Media\n
Abstraction Media is a West Hollywood-based production house creating original content for stage, film, and television. We produce large-scale international tours for a globally touring comedian whose live business spans theaters, performing arts centers, arenas, and international markets across multiple continents.
About the Role\n
We are hiring a Tour Operations Manager to oversee the daily operational execution and administrative backbone of our touring business: ticketing coordination, vendor logistics, venue/promoter tracking, contract management, and overall tour administration across every show on the calendar.
\n
This is a key administrative and operational coordination role within live entertainment. It is not a booking agent role, a routing role, or a road-based tour manager role. The person in this seat manages the systems, administrative workflows, and day-to-day operations so the artist and creative leads can stay focused on the craft.
\n
You will manage ticketing data, daily sales tracking, inventory holds, vendor documentation, budget tracking, and promoter communication. You will be the organized anchor who ensures contract compliance, tracks inventory, keeps tour administrative calendars running smoothly, and coordinates across venues, ticketing partners, and agency teams.
Non-Negotiable Requirements\n
Two requirements are absolute. Applications that do not meet both will not be reviewed:
\n
- \n
- Based in Los Angeles, working on-site. This role is in-person at our West Hollywood office. We are not considering remote, hybrid, or relocation candidates. You must already live in the Los Angeles area or be prepared to be on-site from day one.
- Direct experience inside a live entertainment or touring environment. You must have held an administrative, coordination, or operational role at one of the following (or a direct equivalent):

- Ticketing Coordination & Data Management: Oversee ticketing administration across platforms (holds, scaling, inventory requests, and on-sale schedules). Monitor daily sales reports and count sheets to keep leadership informed on market pacing.
- Vendor & Contract Administration: Maintain vendor files, route venue/promoter agreements, track compliance details, and handle administrative communications for sound, lighting, travel, security, and production vendors.
- Logistics & Travel Management: Coordinate master touring schedules, travel arrangements, accommodations, ground transportation, and advancing requirements across domestic and international dates.
- Promoter & Venue Communications: Act as the central administrative contact point for local promoters, venue staff, and ticketing teams to ensure all documentation and administrative requirements are met ahead of shows.
- Operational Problem Solving: Keep tour systems, digital drives, calendars, and communication channels organized. Swiftly resolve administrative bottlenecks and logistical conflicts.
