SECURITY OFFICER – DOD Secret Security Clearance

Job Location: Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA

Job Description:

Security Operations & Solutions is seeking Security Officers that can demonstrate the ability to work as a member of a team in support of the Space Program at Vandenberg Space Force Base. The successful candidate will be assigned on VSFB granting entry into facilities and patrolling areas in a marked security vehicle. Security Operations & Solutions is a Drug Free Workplace.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Entry Control duties on static guard posts within a Security Entry Control Building
• Verify and control Visitor entry into facilities/areas
• Conduct vehicle patrols of assigned area of responsibility
• Complete written reports/logs

BASIC QUALITIFICATIONS:

• Active DOD Secret Clearance
• High School diploma or GED
• 1-year security officer experience
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid Driver License
• Must be able to clearly speak, read and write English

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Aptitude to work as a member of a team
• Uncompromising integrity and character
• Excellent oral and written skills
• Ability to work any shift (days, afternoons, nights) and any day during the week
• Must possess the ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently.
• Some computer experience is a necessity
