The Brooklyn Pizza Company and More is a family-owned and operated pizzeria proudly serving authentic East Coast-style pizza, wings, Philly cheesesteaks, and more from the Town Center Mall Food Court in Santa Maria. We are passionate about quality, authenticity, and giving our customers the best slice in town. We are currently looking for a true Pizza Pro to join our family!
The Role: Are you a master of the dough? Do you know your way around a pizza oven with your eyes closed? We are looking for an Experienced Pizza Maker who lives and breathes pizza. You won't just be throwing standard cheese pies; we need an expert who knows how to craft everything from a perfect Sicilian to golden-baked calzones. If you know "anything and everything pizza," you belong in our kitchen!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Crafting the Classics & Beyond: Hand-stretching, tossing, and baking a wide variety of menu items, including traditional NY-style pizzas, thick-crust Sicilian pizzas, and stuffed pizzas.
- Rolling It Up: Expertly assembling and baking calzones, strombolis, and pizza rolls to golden perfection.
- Managing the Oven: Keeping a close eye on bake times, rotating pies, and ensuring every single item comes out with that perfect East Coast crunch.
- Prepping Like a Pro: Preparing dough, proofing, creating our signature sauces, and prepping fresh toppings daily.
- Keeping It Clean: Maintaining a fast-paced, spotless, and health-code-compliant kitchen environment in our busy food court location.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience is a MUST: You must have proven, hands-on experience working as a Pizza Maker in a fast-paced restaurant or pizzeria setting.
- Versatility: You aren't just a one-trick pony. You know the exact techniques required to fold a calzone, roll a stromboli, and build a heavy stuffed pizza without the dough breaking.
- Hustle & Heart: Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced food court environment, especially during lunch rushes and dinner peaks.
