This full-time position is ideal for a skilled COTA who thrives in a dynamic and collaborative educational environment. With a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, you’ll play a key role in empowering young learners to achieve their fullest potential.
Your expertise will be focused on an elementary caseload, providing hands-on support, implementing therapeutic interventions, and collaborating with teachers and specialists. You’ll work onsite at a welcoming elementary school, serving as a vital resource for students’ growth and well-being.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active and current COTA licensure in California
- Proven school-based experience, particularly within elementary settings
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Enthusiasm for working collaboratively with students, staff, and families
- Ability to work full-time onsite, adhering to school hours (M-F, 8:00 AM–3:30 PM)
- Readiness to begin as soon as possible and commit through June 9, 2027
- Willingness to participate in a Zoom interview
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to meet students’ IEP goals
- Document progress and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with teachers and related service professionals
- Assist in developing materials and adapting classroom transitions
- Support a safe, inclusive, and engaging school environment
