A Fresh Start Cleaning is looking for a dedicated and hardworking Janitorial team member to join our crew in San Jose, CA! Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning and janitorial duties including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, furniture, and fixtures
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper
- Follow cleaning schedules and checklists to ensure all tasks are completed thoroughly
- Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance issues or supply needs
Requirements:
- Prior janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid driver's license or reliable transportation a plus
- Must be able to pass a background check
