Job Summary
A leading energy utility is seeking a Sr. CC&B/C2M Business Analyst for a high-visibility contract opportunity in Oakland, CA. This role supports a major billing system modernization program and will serve as a critical connection point between business stakeholders, IT teams, and implementation partners.
The Sr. CC&B/C2M Business Analyst will help shape complex meter-to-cash processes that support large-scale customer billing operations using Oracle Customer Care and Billing and Customer to Meter platforms. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced utility billing systems professional who enjoys solving complex business problems, influencing enterprise technology decisions, and serving as a trusted subject matter expert.
Candidates can expect a collaborative project environment with experienced leadership, cross-functional teamwork, and the opportunity to mentor other analysts while contributing to a long-term, business-critical transformation initiative.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze complex end-to-end meter-to-cash business processes and translate business needs into detailed requirements, functional specifications, and solution recommendations.
- Partner with business clients, technical teams, and vendor implementation partners to deliver Oracle CC&B and C2M project functionality.
- Perform feasibility analysis, define project scope, recommend solution alternatives, and help prioritize delivery activities.
- Create and review design documents, technical specifications, test plans, and test results to confirm alignment with business requirements.
- Serve as a senior subject matter expert for Oracle CC&B, C2M, and related enterprise applications.
- Mentor associate- and mid-level analysts while ensuring compliance with SOX, regulatory, and internal process requirements.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $90 to $130 per hour.
- Job type: Contract/Temporary. 6 month contract. Hybrid.
- Location: Oakland, CA.
- Occasional travel to business locations for workshops may be required.
