Client: Medical Device Manufacturing Company
Duration: 6-Month Contract
Location: Menlo Park, CA 94025
Shift: 2nd Shift
Work Arrangement: Manufacturing / Production

Description:

Job Summary

This is an entry-level manufacturing and production assembly role. The Assembler I will perform routine assembly tasks, follow established work instructions, and inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards. This position is closely supervised and is suitable for candidates with little or no manufacturing experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform repetitive and non-repetitive production assembly tasks.
  • Follow written instructions, diagrams, visual aids, schematics, and standard operating procedures.
  • Set up product layouts and use basic tools for assembly.
  • Perform continuity checks on work-in-process and completed products.
  • Conduct quality inspections according to established specifications.
  • Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test assemblies when required.
  • Operate automatic or semi-automatic machines and production equipment as assigned.
  • Support manufacturing activities such as processing, packaging, and distribution.
  • Report machine malfunctions or abnormalities to the appropriate personnel.
  • Record production data and follow established quality procedures.
  • Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory, or product storage when needed.

Candidate Requirements

  • No prior experience required — entry-level candidates are welcome.
  • No minimum education requirement.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to understand basic assembly instructions, diagrams, and visual aids.
  • Willingness to learn and follow standard operating procedures.
  • Comfortable performing repetitive assembly and production tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing tools or processes is helpful but not required.
