Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license for California
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (OT - mMa)
- Experience providing OT services in a school environment
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documenting student progress
- Strong communication skills for working with educators, students, and families
- Ability to adapt sessions to meet individual student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students to identify their needs related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teaching staff and families to support students’ functional independence within the school setting
- Maintain accurate records of student evaluations, intervention sessions, and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings to contribute to goal-setting and student support plans
- Provide consultative services and staff training as needed
