Responsibilities
- Provide unit-based leadership working collaboratively with the Nurse Manager, Director, physicians, and staff
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing and ancillary personnel using professional and supervisory discretion
- Apply independent judgment to ensure safe, cost-effective, evidence-based patient care
- Promote positive patient outcomes and high patient satisfaction while maintaining patient safety
- Assess and take steps to improve quality of the patient experience on the unit
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in an inpatient setting
- Ability to supervise nursing and ancillary staff on a unit and coordinate care delivery
- Strong collaboration with physicians, staff, and multidisciplinary teams
