- Provide psychiatric and nursing care to incarcerated individuals in a correctional healthcare setting.
- Monitor patients’ mental, emotional, and physical health and identify changes requiring clinical attention.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with authorized orders and scope-of-practice requirements.
- Recognize and report behavioral health concerns, psychiatric emergencies, and potential patient safety risks.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including patient observations, interventions, and treatment responses.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and custody staff to promote patient safety and continuity of care.
- Follow established treatment plans, healthcare protocols, confidentiality requirements, and applicable CDCR policies.
- Demonstrate professionalism, sound clinical judgment, effective communication, and a commitment to quality patient care.

Possess a current, valid California Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) license in good standing. Hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
