Summary/objective
Are you passionate about design, customer service, and turning ideas into beautiful, functional spaces? We are looking for a Cabinet Sales Associate to join our team and help customers bring their kitchen and bathroom projects to life.
In this role, you will guide customers through the entire cabinet design and sales process—from the initial consultation and product selection to design, quoting, order placement, and project coordination. You’ll combine your creativity, technical design skills, and attention to detail to develop solutions that meet each customer’s needs while ensuring designs are accurate, functional, and ready for production.
The ideal candidate is a customer-focused professional who enjoys solving problems, creating thoughtful designs, and working collaboratively with customers, contractors, installers, and internal teams. Proficiency in 20/20 Design or Cabinet Vision is highly valued.
Essential functions:

- Build strong relationships with customers and guide them through the complete project experience, from initial consultation through final order.
- Help customers select cabinetry, countertops, materials, finishes, and other products that meet their design preferences, functional needs, and budget.
- Create detailed kitchen and bathroom designs using 20/20 Design or Cabinet Vision software.
- Develop professional layouts, drawings, renderings, and design presentations for customer review and approval.
- Prepare accurate cabinet and countertop estimates and ensure pricing and product selections are correct.
- Review measurements, builder specifications, architectural drawings, and project requirements to create functional and production-ready designs.
- Use creativity and critical thinking to maximize space, functionality, and overall design while meeting customer expectations.
- Proactively identify and resolve design, measurement, product, or specification issues.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and follow established processes to keep projects moving efficiently.
- Coordinate with customers, contractors, installers, and internal teams to help ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Communicate clearly and professionally throughout the project to provide an exceptional customer experience.

Required education and experience:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Strong proficiency in 2020 cabinet design software
- Experience with cabinet order processing
- Confident decision-making
- Excellent follow-through, multitasking, and organization skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Preferred education and experience:
- Bilingual in Spanish
Additional eligibility requirements:
- Must meet all flooring and cabinet department safety standards and internal policies.
- Must be available to work weekends and a flexible schedule, including any day of the week, based on store hours and business needs.
