Pay rate: $20.00/hr $21.00/hr on W2 without benefits
Summary:
The Assembler is responsible for assembling and testing products, and for troubleshooting and resolving issues. * Assemble components of all Product Lines. Select correct tools and fixtures. * Test assembled products. Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the assembly and testing of products. * Ensure ability to: read blueprints; identify components; use pertinent hand tools and rework techniques; operate equipment, dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies. * Create labor records for all transactions. * Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Entry level position
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and understand instructions, drawings, and written procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to remain focused while performing repetitive tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, or assembly environment.
- Experience operating production equipment or machinery.
- Mechanical aptitude and strong hand-eye coordination.
- Good manual dexterity for handling small parts and performing assembly work.
