The Role: The IT Helpdesk Technician will provide hands-on technical support with the IT Operations Team. This role requires solid troubleshooting skills in a Microsoft Windows/M365 environment with a great customer service mindset. This is an on-site based job with occasional travel to remote sites. On-call and after-hour support on a rotational and as-needed basis is required.
Location: Salinas, CA
Areas of Responsibility:
- Provide onsite and remote support for desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, mobile devices, and other end-user equipment.
- Provide end user support for Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and various business applications.
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and repair hardware.
- Image, deploy, configure, and upgrade desktop, laptop and mobile systems.
- Troubleshoot user account issues, password resets, and File Rights Requests.
- Support conference room technology and peripheral devices.
- Answer support tickets, documenting resolutions within the ticketing system.
- Assist in updating and maintaining internal documentation.
- Assist with maintaining IT equipment inventory.
- Ability to lift and implement devices at 30lbs
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred but not required.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or other industry-recognized certifications a plus.
- Experience with Active Directory and endpoint management tools.
- Experience supporting hardware deployments, device refresh projects, or office moves.
Ideal Candidate:
- General understanding of Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Applications
- Good documentation practice
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Bi-Lingual (Spanish & English)
